The codes i plan to follow

The main idea of my music magazine is to engage the targeted audience into reading the music magazine. In this case, the magazine needs to reach a particular standard in order to achieve this. The codes i need to follow is...

Bold Titles- A bold title is important because it is the first thing the audience will notice on the magazine cover. The name of the magazine is how people will recognise it and recommend it to others.

Interesting Logo- A logo defines what the magazine style is and this connects to the importance of the title.

Bold Main images- Bold main images are important because they are the features that take the most room up on the pages of the magazine. If the image was small, the page would be full of text. This would make the audience loose interest in reading the magazine because it is time taking. The bigger the image, the more attention the magazine grabs. Having different poses in the images is another feature which would increase the amount of audience interest. Therefore i ensure to follow this idea.

Catchy Captions- These are important because using language such as, alliteration, makes words catchy and this creates a positive affect on the magazine and target audience. So, this is another code i plan to follow.

Large headings- If i use large headings, it gives the audience an indication of what the small text on the page is about. So it gives them a choice of wether they want to read this topic or not. Although using a persuasive technique in the language will persuade them to read the small text. Leading from this, i can use persuasive language in my magazine.

Contrasting colours- Colours are a one of the main focuses on a magazine. They take up most of the page and are included in text, images and backgrounds. In this situation, i plan to use pacific colour schemes which will link to both male and female genders and enable that the magazine has a high amount of colour contrast, which creates smooth textures, patterns and tone.
