competing with my magazine

There are many magazines which i have previously researched and my intentions are to challenge these to the best of my ability. To do this, i need to think about the conventions of the magazine, denotations and connotations of the audience's judgements. This is because the audience are the people i need to keep engaged into my music magazine. Personally, i feel i can take inspiration from official magazines but i can take a step further by thinking about how i can make the features in my magazine prominent. So that the magazine can become successful.
