I want my model to have a more natural look as i am aiming to reach to a younger audience. Although, i feel i could adjust the colour tone and contrast of the skin tones and textures, as well as the lip colour and dark circles under the eyes, using photoshop. I want the main images used to look bold and intense so that they capture attention. However, text on the page is just as important. As for props, i don't plan to use any, other than clothing. Each image used in my magazine will be different, with a different pose, composition and clothing. For example, my model on my contents page will be wearing a different top to the top worn on the front cover. The prop used on my contents page will be a hat. This makes the audience recognise the targeted age range of my audience because of the fashion style of clothing. My double page spread image of my model will have a pose using a jacket over the shoulder. This is a casual pose which would look good and it isn't overly performed. The red lipstick theme is my intentions. Again, because i want the colour 'red' to be a main focus of the magazine as it suits to both gender of audience. Depending on my photoshoot outcomes, this idea could change, However, this is my idea and suggestion so far while i think about the design and layout of my magazine.
Below are some model images which i like and plan to use as inspiration...
These are from the following magazines...
