Q magazine includes many features in it's website. Therefore, you can grab ideas from it instantly. It gives you the in and out's about upcoming releases of music magazines, the top artists, music need and reviews, music videos, which is not a feature of the magazine itself. So, this is an extra feature. Also, it includes band pictures, track of the day, playlists, interviews, the latest issue, wins and awards. Therefore, there is nothing you can miss out on. I really like how Q magazine's website does not focus on the conventions of the website, as it is quite simple, with a large logo, but it lists everything possible that could relate to the inside of the magazine. Not only this, the magazine advertises 'Q Tickets' meaning that fans of the magazine can visit special concerts and events. As well as receive offers. I plan to use this to help me with the features to include in my magazine. Such as what to advertise etc...

BBC magazine's website is different to any other music magazine website because it focuses on classical music rather than chart and modern music. Although, this website has a different targeted age genre, i like it because the drop down list is very unusual and lists elements which a normal music magazine website wouldn't have. Kerrang magazine is website that mainly focuses and advertises rock music. I like this website because it uses a similar colour scheme to what i intend to use for my music magazine. Therefore, i can take and develop ideas from this. As well as challenge this music magazine by increasing contrast within the colours i plan to use.

I found 'vibe magazine's' website inspiring because it reaches out and connects to the same age range and genre of audience as me. In this case, their successful ideas will help me create my music magazine as i am aiming for a similar style of magazine type.
